Info Day attracts 60,000 visitors

23 October 2025

CUHK held its annual Information Day on 11 October, welcoming nearly 60,000 visitors, including students, parents, and teachers. Visitors explored CUHK’s latest admission information, programme and campus.

During the day, an admissions talk for JUPAS Applicants was held in the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Hosted by Director of Admissions and Financial Aid Professor Andy Wong Ka-chat, speakers included CUHK alumna, Union Hospital’s Assistant Chief Hospital Manager and Specialist in Neurology Dr Yannie Soo Oi-yan, Dean of Social Science and Wei Lun Professor of Journalism and Communication Anthony Fung Ying-him, Associate Dean of Arts and Associate Professor at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature Wong Nim-yan, second-year Global Business Studies student Eunice Leung, and fourth-year Exercise Science and Health Education student Tang Yu-hin. They shared insights on CUHK’s educational philosophy, tips on selecting a programme, and their personal experiences on academic and career planning.

The University also organised other admission talks, covering various admission pathways, and the admission talk for the new Diplomacy and International Studies programme attracted strong interest from students and parents.

The faculties and their departments showcased their academic strengths through various exhibitions, programme talks, lab visits, and demonstrations. Attendees participated in workshops and classroom experiences, engaging with CUHK students and alumni to gain a deeper understanding of the University’s academic atmosphere and multicultural campus culture.
