University Swimming Pool reopens

The centrally located University Swimming Pool will reopen on 7 May 2025 (Wednesday) and remain open daily until December. Access is available to students, staff, alumni, and other eligible users. Opening hours are as follows:

* Weekly pool cleansing may be adjusted depending on student swimming classes and aquatic events.

The issuance and renewal of swimming cards will begin on 21 April 2025. Applicants may submit their online application via the Office of Student Affairs homepage. Holders of a CU Link Card do not need to apply for a separate swimming card. Staff quarter residents may use their resident smartcard in place of a swimming card; however, the applicable fee will still be charged.

The admission fees of the University Swimming Pool in 2025 are as follows:

Annual subscription fee for swimming card (valid until December 2025):

  • Alumni Swimming Card: HK$220
  • Eligible Retiree Swimming Card: HK$220
