Exploring the voice of the corpse

What is the work of a forensic anthropologist? How is it different from that of forensic pathologist? Ms Winsome Lee, CUHK alumna and forensic anthropologist, shared her personal experience at the “Celebrity Talk (II): Exploring the voice of the corpse”, organised by CUHK’s Office of Student Affairs on 22 February.

Ms Lee obtained her BA in philosophy and MA in anthropology from the University of Oregon and CUHK, respectively. After finishing her internship at the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department, she went on to complete her master’s degree in forensic anthropology and archaeology at the University of Leicester.

In the talk held at Yasumoto International Academic Park, she shared her profession with about 100 staff and students, her meticulous attitude and professionalism leads her to the truth. She believes that everyone should be respected, regardless of nationality, social conditions, cultural status, religion and other factors.
