Honouring dedication

CUHK pays tribute to long-serving staff

14 May 2025

Every year, the University presents the Long Service Award to full-time staff members who have served for more than 15 years. This year, a total of 278 colleagues were recognised for their unwavering commitment: 35 received the 35-year award, and 67 and 176 celebrated their 25 and 15 years of service respectively. Their tireless dedication has been integral to CUHK’s ongoing excellence in teaching, research, and many other areas.

The award presentation ceremony took place at Lecture Theatre One of Yasumoto International Academic Park on 24 April. CUHK In Focus talked to three of the awardees on their work, life and unforgettable moments at the University.
