University Council appointments

The University Council has approved the appointment of Professor Irwin KING Kuo-chin, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), as a member of the Council with effect from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027, in accordance with Statute 11.1(ca) and 11.6 of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance.

The following persons have been re-appointed by the Chancellor, in accordance with Statute 11.1(k) and 11.4 of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance, as Members of the Council each for a further period of three years:

  1. Ms Melissa Kaye PANG with effect from 22 September 2026; and
  2. Mrs Ann KUNG YEUNG Yun-chi and Mr Eric MA Siu-cheung with effect from 27 November 2026.
