In collaboration with the Civil Service Bureau, CUHK’s Career Planning and Development Centre of the Office of Student Affairs hosted the Government Career Fair on 2 October. Representatives from 24 government bureaus and departments presented more than 50 civil service grades open to graduates of 2026, including posts in the professional streams and the disciplined services. Students seized the chance to interact with officers at the booths to learn about public service careers and application processes.

Eight career talks, delivered by experienced officers from departments including the Hong Kong Police Force, the Home Affairs Department and the Department of Justice, offered students first‑hand insights into public administration, policy formation and community services.
