Back on campus: CUHK welcomes all to a fresh start – in pictures
19 September 2025
After the summer break, our campus is once again alive with energy and activity. The new academic year’s student orientation kicked off with the University Orientation Day in early August, followed by orientation camps of their Colleges and Faculties. New students were immersed in a whirlwind of activities designed to equip them with essential resources and foster friendships for a fruitful year ahead. Here’s a glimpse into the moments that marked the beginning of a new academic year.

Whether participating in the “small” orientation camps held by their own faculties and departments or the “big” camps organised by their Colleges, new students can deepen their understanding of the University, build friendships and a sense of belonging through a variety of well-designed activities.
