No mean feat

The curtain was brought down on a memorable Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in late October after a week of incredible athletic feats and thrilling competitions. This year, the University had three student and alumni represent Hong Kong in the Games, with them racking up one gold, two silver and three bronze medals. Badminton player Chu Man-kai, a sophomore of sports science and physical education programme, claimed gold in men’s singles SH6 and silver in men’s doubles SH6. Veteran wheelchair fencer Alison Yu, geography and resource management undergraduate and sports studies graduate alumna, won a silver in women’s foil team and also three bronzes in women’s foil individual, épée individual and sabre team. Congratulations once again to our athletes!
